Nashua Rustenburg hereby invites all interested parties in applying for a Technical Learnership Position (B-BBEE) wherein the successful Candidates will be afforded an opportunity to enroll in an internal Unemployed Learnership programme for a period of 12 months leading to the selected qualification as a qualified Office Automation Technical Field Engineer and for the possibility of being employed permanently as a Technical Field Engineer should you be selected to join after the Learnership programme has been completed.
Minimum qualification requirement is Grade 12
Further tertiary education will be advantageous
2 – 4 years Technical experience will be advantageous
IT Networking with N+ certified will be advantageous
CompTia A+ certified will be advantageous
PDI+ will be advantageous
Excellent Communication Skills on all levels, telephonic and face to face customer relations skills / presentable / self-motivated
Must be self-driven, motivated, innovative and team player
Valid driver’s license and if possible own reliable transport
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
To repair and service all Nashua Equipment in the field (franchise area) with the assistance of the Technical Field Engineers
To attend to the Preventive Maintenance Program with the assistance of the Technical Field Engineers
Keep the Technical Supervisor & Technical Field Manager informed on problems relating to equipment and customers and assisting the Technical Field Manager / Supervisor in all problematic areas pertaining to the Quality Management System
To maintain boot stock with the assistance of the Technical Field Engineers
Ensure that the Technical Coordinator / Service Controller is given accurate information related to all service calls
Attend to all installation of equipment together with the required procedures pertaining to all documentation with the assistance of the Technical Field Engineers
Maintain a comprehensive and up to date knowledge of all products and technologies through attending training programs and regular review of technical documents and by completing the necessary curriculum allocated by the Nashua e-Learning Channel and Learnership Programme
